Tails of The Forgotten Paws is a 100% volunteer-powered, community-based organisation dedicated to:
- Better the lives of forgotten or overlooked animals.
- Promote positive human-animal relationships.
Established in 2020 when our founder saw the need for a service that addresses the root cause of neglected/abandoned animals that often ended up being impounded. This contributes to the high rate of euthanasia at pounds.

If we want to change the world, we have to work together. We believe that every pet deserves a full life and at the heart of every animal welfare success story are two things: first, the incredible compassion of our supporters (like you!) who made it happen, and second, an inspiring mission that united all of us in the first place.
At Tails of The Forgotten Paws Au our mission has evolved overtime to reflect what we want to accomplish. Our mission is to ensure that these animals get 2nd chance in life and are treated with kindness & respect.
We aim to better the lives of both humans and animals out of pure and selfless compassion, to be the voice for animals in need through rescue, rehoming, education, rehabilitation and alleviating some of the medical burden and other essential pet care to those in need.
By partnering with other inspiring animal welfare organisations, we help special cases domestic animals i.e. domestic violence/animal cruelty victims, deceased family, puppy farm/backyard breeder, illegal dog baiting/fighting, mental health/hoarding support, domestication of retired greyhounds and abandoned animals.
We help them heal by matching them with our wonderful foster carers, provide them with the best care & rehabilitation before finding them forever loving homes that won’t give up on them or let them down again.
